Open Grant Calls
PREPARE’s overall objective is to support and strengthen essential research capabilities, translational platforms, and expertise to develop tools, methods and products that can be tapped on to detect, respond to, and contain future infectious disease threats. To achieve these objectives, and in our effort to integrate complementary, multidisciplinary R&D capabilities across sectors and institutions, PREPARE will launch Open Grant Calls under the following three Co-operatives:
Environmental Transmission & Mitigation
Diagnostics
Vaccines & Therapeutics
PREPARE will fund research projects that are aligned to our strategy and desired outcomes for epidemic preparedness and response, with emphasis on translational and/or productisation outcomes.
All PREPARE grant proposals are subjected to evaluation by PREPARE’s Scientific Review Panel, which comprise international and local experts from academic institutions and industry. The proposals are evaluated based on their scientific merit and alignment to PREPARE’s strategy.
